The Obedience Training Club of Bartlesville (OTCB) has been training dogs in Bartlesville, OK since 1986. The club was established by an enthusiastic group of individuals who loved dogs and competition. In the early years of the club, we focused on AKC Formal Obedience training and competition, hence our name. Throughout the years as dog sports have evolved so have the activities we enjoy with our canines. Our members participate at various levels in a myriad of dog sports. Sheep herding, freestyle, and agility are just some of the other activities we enjoy with our dogs.
OTCB’s primary goal is to promote fellowship and sportsmanship in obedience and dog performance events. We hope to be good ambassadors to all things dog obedience and dog sport related. We strive to encourage, educate and enable people to become participants in dog-related activities.
OTCB’s secondary goal is to promote responsible dog ownership. Each year OTCB offers seminars, demonstrations and obedience classes to the community in our efforts to promote responsible dog ownership. Our aim is to provide additional resources for dog owners and spread awareness about the responsibilities associated with dog ownership.
OTCB is a volunteer not-for-profit organization.
