Obedience Training Club of Bartlesville
OTCB generally has training sessions in the Spring and Fall. Our classes meet once a week for 8 weeks at the Washington County Fairgrounds, Main Building, in Dewey Oklahoma. Our courses are designed to be informative and encourage you build a happy and positive relationship with your pooch.
Our course offerings and the number of classes is determined by instructor availability and student interest. Our core courses are Kindergarten Puppy Training (KPT), Obedience Beginners and Advanced Obedience. On occasion we will also offer intro to rally and intro to agility courses. Class Schedule...

Kindergarten Puppy Training
This class is for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months old. The focus of this class is to get your puppy off to a solid start. Your puppy will learn begin to learn basic obedience like sit, lie down and loose leash walking. In this class the instructor will teach you how to deal with common puppy behaviors and give you a road map for your puppy's development. You will have a blast socializing with other puppies and people. The enrollment fee is $65 for this class.
Advanced Obedience
This class build on the foundation you established in the Obedience Beginners course. The class will work on improving and proofing your dogs basic obedience skills. The work on sit-stay, down-stay recall progresses with increased time, distance and distractions. Through out the course the instructor will share new exercises and begin to introduce off lead work with your pooch. The enrollment fee is $50 for this class.

Obedience Beginners
This class is for all dogs older than 6 months old. This class introduces how to teach basic obedience skills to your pooch. This course will cover heeling on leash, sit/stay, down/stay and to come when called (recall). This course includes a training collar and leather leash. The enrollment fee is $65 for this class.
