Obedience Training Club of Bartlesville
I am relatively new to dog training. My very first dog was a Great Dane that I brought home in 2005. I knew obedience training was a must for this giant breed, and enrolled in Puppy Kindergarten. After attending a couple of classes and meeting OTCB members I realized there was a huge world of dog activities out there besides obedience training. I am hoping to try some of these other activities like Working Dog Pack titles and Cart Pulling with my new Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (Swissy) puppy.
Name: Rayna
Breed: Great Dane (Harlequin)
Activities: Obedience Training
Rayna was rescued from the Washington County SPCA in 2006. Her "spotted" coloring is one of six Great Dane colors known as Harlequin. She was approximately 1-2 years old when she was rescued, and she had some "issues" that I've been working on with her. Through a lot of supervised socialization and training over the past couple of years she has gotten past most of her “issues”, and she now participates in many of OTCB’s events and classes as a demo dog.
Name: "Maverick", Liberty Run's Games of the Heart
Breed: Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (Swissy)
Activities: Puppy Training
Maverick joined the family in 2009, and is currently "in training". Future activities will hopefully include Canine Good Citizen certification, Working Pack Dog Titles, and cart pulling (for fun).
